Alternative Breaks: Travel & Service Opportunities

The Cal Poly Center for Service in Action is facilitating service and travel opportunities for students.  Travel locations include alternative break global service trips in both Italy and Nepal with a domestic option of traveling to Seattle. 

Through the Alternative Break programs, students will be able to participate in meaningful community service projects, experience cultural exchanges, grow in intercultural competence, improve leadership skills, and make lasting connections.

Upcoming Alternative Breaks service trips include Seattle (spring break), Italy (summer break), and Nepal (summer break).

Funding opportunities are available to offset costs with application deadlines in February.  Students interested in learning more about these programs can visit the Cal Poly Center for Service in Action webpage.
