Study Abroad Opportunities Summer, 2019

Cal Poly students have the opportunity to study abroad this summer in courses taught by faculty from across the globe. Study abroad locations include Vietnam, Mexico, Spain, and China. 

In Hanoi, Vietnam, students will spend the summer exploring the culture and society of Vietnam’s capital city, visit historical and cultural sites in and around Hanoi, and explore unique regions of the country during multi-day excursions.

In San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, students will study language & culture at the Academia Hispano Americana, visit local sites of cultural & historical significance, engage in volunteer activities, take field trips to Guanajuato & Teotihuacan, and live with Mexican homestay families.

In Valladolid, Spain, students will participate in the local culture and live with Spanish host families, visit Madrid, Spain’s capital city, and take full day excursions to nearby cities including Toledo, Avila, Salamanca, Segovia, and Santander.

In Beijing, China, students will experience Beijing, the bustling and historic capital city of China, explore local historical and cultural sites including the Great
Wall of China and the Forbidden City, and take a multi-day excursion to Xi’an, an ancient capital of China.
