Media and Technology

This focus area prepares students to critically evaluate how people design, access, and use communication technologies; to understand the effects of media content; and to produce media of their own.

Students will be prepared to enter careers such as social media management, public relations, advertising, marketing, activism, technical writing, journalism, media and entertainment industries, public policy, and user experience and user interface (UX/UI).
