Winter Speaker Series on Diversity in Technology
Color Coded is a club at Cal Poly which seeks to promote the academic and professional success of minorities in technology. This winter, the club is hosting a Speaker Series that is free and open to all.
“Diversity in Games: Representation and Participation” is an event featuring Lindsay D. Grace, Knight Chair in Interactive Media at the University of Miami. This event took place Friday, January 25, 2019 (11 AM, Bldg 14 room 232B).
“My Tech Journey” is an event featuring Beatris Mendez Gandica, Security Program Manager at Microsoft. This event takes place Thursday, February 21, 2019 (11 AM, Kennedy Library, room 511).
“Afrofuturism” is an event featuring Avi Lonny Brooks, Professor of Strategic Communication and Media Studies at CSU East Bay. This event takes place Thursday, March 7, 2019 (11 AM, Bldg 10 room 204).
