Coms Graduate School Workshop Fall 2020

Mark your calendars for a special event next week!  The Communication Studies Department in collaboration with Lambda Pi Eta is hosting a Graduate School Workshop next Friday!  

 

This workshop is designed to teach students about the nuts and bolts of graduate school, opportunities, challenges, and how to prepare for applying.  The workshop will take place in 4 sessions that are 50-minutes each with breaks in between.  Feel free to come and go as your schedule permits.  We’ll cover the following topics in each session:

Friday, November 13, 10:00am – 2:00pm (PST)

  • 10:00 – 10:50am --- What is Grad School?
  • 11:00 – 11:50am --- Getting into Grad School
  • 12:00 – 12:50pm --- Gathering Application Materials
  • 1:00 – 1:50pm --- Panel of Cal Poly Alumni in Grad School
