COMS Faculty & Student Present at Sport Summit

Comm Studies faculty members Dr. Megan Lambertz-Berndt and Dr. Lauren Kolodziejski will be presenting an original research paper co-authored with Comms student Tina Reynolds at the 12th Annual International Association for Communication and Sport (IACS) Summit.  The Summit takes place at Idaho State University in Boise, Idaho (March 28-31).


Presenting on a panel on the Critical Examinations of Sport, the title of their paper is: (No) Flag on the Play: Framing Cam Newton's Penalty Concerns as an Issue of Size and Character.  According to the IACS website:

“Communication and Sport (C&S) is a cutting-edge, peer-reviewed journal that publishes research to foster international scholarly understanding of the nexus of communication and sport.
